LLANDUDNO were counting the cost of missed opportunities in their 24-20 loss at Caernarfon.
The Goats suffered back-to-back losses for the first time this year, but they started the game well and went ahead on 12 minutes through a well-struck penalty from Byron Davies.
This was swiftly followed by their first try of the afternoon which came from Alan Davies, who powered his way over the line on the half hour mark for an unconverted score.
After the break saw the visitors extend their advantage even further when Lewis Jones got on the end of a Lloyd Evans kick to touch down.
This finally provoked the Cofis into life and Dominic Yau got them on the scoreboard after avoiding a host of missed tackles to cross the white wash, with the same player also adding the extras.
The home side seized the momentum further soon after when Dilwyn Gwyn crashed over immediately following the restart, and Iolo Hughes was the next to go over for a score than he also converted.
Hughes also despatched a penalty and despite Byron Davies scoring a converting a try, it was not enough to prevent the loss.
Both sides meet again on Sunday, May 13 in the North Wales Plate Final at Nant Conwy, and the Goats are back in action this Saturday when they travel to Dolgellau.
