Classic cars descended on Llandudno as part of a new road rally.
Starting and finishing on Llandudno Promenade, vehicles from 1921 to 1985, including an Austin Healey, the 1966 Hillman Imp, a 1971 Ford Escort and a 1972 Lotus Elan travelled 150 miles around North Wales in one day taking on 18 special tests around the region to win the The Three Castles Trophy.
The winners of the event were Dermot Carnegie and Paul Bosdet in a Ford Escort. A dominant display saw the duo edge out Mark and Sue Godfrey in their Ford Escort and Graham Walker and Sean Toohey who were contesting in a Lotus Elan Sprint.
Out of the 35 cars that took part, ten of the entrants were beginners.
Event director, Ian Crammond said: “We wanted to put on a new style of event to get people into motorsports. This is the first of its kind for North Wales.”
