A GIANT Christmas tree has taken centre stage at Manorafon Farm Park.

The tree, which is 10 metres tall and has been described as 'possibly the biggest tree in North Wales', features more than 1,000 baubles.

Hannah, activities manager at Manorafon, near Abergele, said: "It was very hard work. It took me about five days to put all 180 individual branches on the tree. It took a team of 12 a full day to get the baubles up and placed right.

"I think there was just over a 1,000 baubles.

"I kept thinking we were nearly done and then I’d spot more empty branches."

Sacha Dudley, marketing and sales manager, said: "The giant Christmas tree is the perfect centrepiece for our Christmas events – it’s so sparkly and a great backdrop for festive photos.

"We have been happy with the lovely comments and reviews from visitors so far and are looking forward to the event in the run up to Christmas.

"We still have tickets available as we have just secured overflow parking."

The attraction is hosting 'Christmas Adventure' and 'Christmas Nights' this December.

Santa Claus and his Elves are bringing North Pole magic to the farm park.
