Ar 9 Rhagfyr 2019, cyhoeddodd Cyngor Sir Ddinbych hysbysiad brys ynglyn a'r briffordd uchod, y gwelwyd bod angen ymestyn hwn ac yna cyflwyno Gorchymyn Dros Dro llawn sy'n gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio'r hyd hwnnw o'r ffordd o Gyffylliog i Garreg y Garth, Cyffylliog, Sir Ddinbych sy'n ymestyn o'i chyffordd a Ffordd Pen Rhiw Fawr i Tyn Celyn i gyfeiriad y gogledd ddwyrain am bellter o oddeutu 27 medr.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(2)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER
CYFFYLLIOG TO GARREG Y GARTH, CYFFYLLIOG
On 9th December 2019, Denbighshire County Council issued an emergency notice in respect of the above highway, which it has been found necessary to extend followed by a full Temporary Order, which prohibits any vehicle from using that length of Cyffylliog to Garreg Y Garth, Cyffylliog in the County of Denbigh which extends from its junction with Pen Rhiw Fawr Road to Tyn Celyn in a northerly direction for a distance of 27 metres.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate public safety due to a land slide and for Denbighshire County Council (Maintenance Section) to undertake repair works.
The alternative route available will be via Pen Rhiw Fawr Road to Tyn Celyn, Cyffylliog to Bontuchel, Cyffylliog to Cefn Trevor, Cefnyfed junction to Cefn Trevor junction, Bryn Ocyn junction to Cefnyfed, Meifod to Bryn Ocyn junction, Porth junction to Meifod, and Garreg Y Garth to Porth junction.
The Order comes into force on 15th January 2020, and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the likelihood of danger is removed whichever is the earlier.
