Llandudno's very own jazz festival returns for its fourth year with a brand new line-up of acts this Summer for enthusiasts and lovers of pop alike.

The cream of the jazz world will be returning to Bodafon Farm from across Wales - and the globe - for three nights of food and jazz for the Llandudno Jazz Festival 2018 from Friday, July 27 until Sunday, July 29.

Geoff Burke, co-organiser of the event:"The festival gets better and better ever year. Our artistic director Neil Yates continues to bring great Jazz for Llandudno fans.

"Many of the best and most celebrated jazz artists the UK has to offer ?will be? on one site - you’re in for a musical adventure that you won’t forget, and a weekend by the sea to boot."

The main stage of the event will cater directly to jazz purists, with jazz artists such as Art Themen, Sara Oschlag, David Newton, Gilad Atzmon, Alan Barnes, Greg Abate, Tony Kofi, Jim Mullen and Dean Masser performing in the upper courtyard and the hall.

There is also cheaper Fringe festival available for novices, with its own stage.

Mr Burke said: "We've also been working hard to improve the experience for non-fans with some soul, popular jazz and swing this year at our Fringe Festival."

The event will provide full facilities for campers, and will also be a circular-saw barbecue, a terrace cafe, full bar services and an outdoor wood fired pizza oven.

Mr Burke added: “The setting is absolutely ideal. Having a jazz festival at a farm by the sea, above the promenade, creates a great vibe for everybody. The musicians love it, the festival goers love it and people party early into the morning.”

“It has a real family atmosphere, the festival draws members of the jazz family from all over Europe, America and Canada."

“It’s good for the profile of Llandudno to have an event like this. We have good links with the businesses and hotels in the town because Jazz fans bring a lot of trade - they come and spend money but most importantly, they’re nice people.”

Full festival tickets are £138 and Fringe tickets £27 for the weekend, with day tickets also available. To book, or for more information, visit llandudnojazzfestival.com.
