A PROUD mum is to lead a charity walk in memory of her daughter who died unexpectedly last Christmas.

Holly Robertson (inset) died in her sleep at the age of 29 on December 27, 2015, at her home in Craig y Don.

Her mother Helen Robertson is encouraging others to join her for the walk from Llandudno Bandstand to the Pier, starting at 11am on Sunday, December 11 in aid of the charity Alzheimers Society which Holly supported.

Mrs Robertson, who has three other daughters, Chloe, Zoe, and Naomi, said: “Anyone is welcome to join - please wear Christmassy jumpers, Holly loved Christmas.

“Quite a few people have said they will come, some are Holly’s close friends, so I am hoping there is going to be a good turnout.

“She did the boxing day dip a few years ago for an Alzheimers charity, it was a cause very close to her heart because her grandad had it.”

Mrs Robertson added that her daughter loved her job as a nursary worker at Clebran Day Nursery in Llandudno, had a real passion for baking cakes and was a big fan of the Great British Bake Off.

Donations made on the day are to be collected and passed on to Alzheimers Society. To find out more about the charity visit: www.alzheimers.org.uk/
