Volunteers at a Llandudno charity have been working hard to support those in need this Christmas.

Hope Restored currently operates out of Llandudno Baptist Church in West Shore - where it provides hot meals and a warm place to shelter twice a week, as well as making food parcels from donated goods to feed homeless people and struggling families.

As well as being able to use the organisation's services from 9am to 1pm on Friday and Saturday, December 23 and 24, those in need will also be able to collect food parcels on Christmas Eve to help them get through the following few days.

Mum-of-seven Brenda Fogg (pictured below), who started the charity seven years ago, said: "We've made up 30 bags to give out on Christmas Eve along with different treats.

"When we make a food parcel up I try and plan three or four meals ahead so we put pasta and pasta sauces in, tuna, beans, anything you could think of.

"We've had many clothes and food brought in - and I'm still collecting from people every day - we're unbelievably grateful for that.”

Food parcels include toiletries, treats, enough meals and tins for three or four days, tea, coffee, pasta, vegetables, biscuits and soup.

From next week Hope Restored will return to its normal opening of 9am to 1pm on Tuesday and Friday.
