A MAN was taken to hospital following a crash that shut one lane of the A55 near Llanddulas.
North Wales Police were called to the scene at just after 10am on Tuesday, May 9 as a Toyota Corolla had hit a central reservation barrier.
Traffic Wales enforced a lane closure on the eastbound carriageway between J23 Llanddulas and J23A Abergele at 10.15am.
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We were called at about 10.10am. We sent a crew in an emergency ambulance and a man was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in a stable condition."
Traffic was at a standstill at the scene for about an hour, but by 11.13am, it began to flow again.
