The 2018 Conwy Business Awards are set to be bigger and better than ever before.

The awards, now in their fifth year, celebrate the best of Conwy’s private sector businesses and show off the contribution they make to the local communities and economy.

Cllr Louise Emery, Conwy Borough Council's cabinet member for economic development, said: “The Business Awards in 2017 were a fantastic success with so many businesses achieving great results and the 2018 Awards are set to be even bigger and more prestigious, .

"I’d encourage all businesses to nominate themselves or their employees. Even being shortlisted can pay dividends with marketing success and can be of great benefit to team and staff morale.”

“It is important we celebrate those businesses that make an impact on our economy and communities, and we facilitate working in partnership by providing opportunities to network and get to know each other, which is one of the benefits achieved by the awards”.

The awards ceremony will be held at Venue Cymru on Friday 18th May, and it is anticipated as many as 400 of Conwy's business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and mentors will attend.

The awards provide a vehicle to raise the profile of local businesses and their achievements.
