INVESTIGATIONS into reports made about a man behaving suspiciously towards an 11 year-old girl in Rhos-on-Sea have come to an end.
North Wales Police carried out enquiries following an incident on Monday evening - it is alleged a man pulled a girl's hair and pushed her in the Second Avenue, Church Road.
After a review of CCTV and speaking to witnesses, police say they have established that no offences "whatsoever" took place.
DI Chris Bell said: “I am aware that there are a lot of concerned residents, in particular parents, in the Rhos on Sea and surrounding areas due to the nature of what was reported.
"I am very grateful to them for their patience and support during this investigation and I would like reassure them that after a number of enquiries I am satisfied that this has all been a misunderstanding and that no offences have taken place.
"We are no longer looking for anybody with regards to this matter.”
