Ysgol Deganwy have been named as a finalist for the PA Consulting’s annual Raspberry Pi programming competition.
Schools were asked to produce a product under the theme of sustainability with Ysgol Deganwy creating an interactive rubbish bin which they named Recycle Michael.
Recycle Michael helps users determine which section of the bin certain item needs to go in to.
The schools website said: "The team are very excited to get into the final and are looking forward to seeing other entries in their category, as well as spending some time sightseeing."
The final will be held at The Institution of Engineering and Technology in London on Tuesday, April 17.
The annual competition aims to inspire the innovators of the future and challenges school children and college students programming skills.
