A Rhos-on-Sea man has walked more than 300 miles, all in memory of his cousin.

Alexander Cameron walked from the Tilley Stone, Tyneside to Wetherspoons in Llandudno on Friday, April 13 in the hope of raising funds for the British Heart Foundation.

The walk had a Wetherspoons theme to it with Mr Cameron passing through 30 along his walk. The pub chain held a strong meaning for Mr Cameron, who caught up with his cousin - Michael Cameron, for the last time before he died in a Wetherspoons.

He said the weather was very favourable for most of the trip and this helped him complete the walk within two weeks.

Mr Cameron has set himself a target of £1000 and is currently sitting on £964.

He has created a JustGiving page and is still accepting donations. To donate visit: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/alex-c-2018-big-walk.
