Tickets for Gary Barlow's concert in Venue Cymru this month sold out in minutes when they went on sale.

But it appears interest in the former Take That singer's concert hasn't gone away.

Residents flocked to the Mostyn Gallery Cafe Facebook page last month when word got out a competition to win tickets to the show went online.

Manageress of the cafe, Tracy Yu, said the site got more than 50,000 views in the first 24 hours after sticking it online.

She said: "The response for the first 48 hours was outstanding.

"My phone actually froze that many times, with so many notifications, I ended up switching it off."

Ms Yu took over the cafe nearly two years ago and said in her time in charge she had never seen anything like this.

Entries are still open to win tickets to see Barlow at Venue Cymru on May 22, just head to the Mostyn Gallery Cafe Facebook page.
