Conwy county residents were treated to a once in a life time blood moon last Friday.
People turned their gaze to the sky, despite cloudy and stormy weather, and were able to catch the phenomenon experts are labelling the longest blood moon in the 21st century.
One Pioneer reader was able to get a snap of the red coloured moon on the rare occasion the clouds parted on Friday evening.
The blood moon was in view for nearly two hours.
