MORE than £300 was raised for charity at a crafternoon event at St Paul's Church in Craig y Don.
The proceeds from the event held last Saturday went to the mental health charity Mind.
The crafternoon idea means getting together with friends, family or colleagues and holding an afternoon of crafting fun, whether it is card making, knitting, crocheting or bauble making crafting, of all kinds, it is good for mental health.
A number of children from the 26th Liverpool Girls Brigade, who are enjoying a summer camp in the area, joined the more than 100 people who attended.
