Two men have been arrested in Llandudno on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.

The males, who were both from the Liverpool area, were arrested in Parc Bodnant having been found cuckooing - taking over the home of a vulnerable person in order to use it as a base for drug dealing.

A significant quantity of suspected heroin and crack cocaine was later recovered and both men have been released under investigation.

The arrest was part North Wales Police's Operation Flight.

PC 2927, Carl Barlow, said: “If you are a victim of cuckooing and feel you cannot approach North Wales Police, please approach either your landlord, local MP or via Crimestoppers.

"If you do not report this matter and allow drug supply to take place at your home address, you are putting your tenancy at risk.”
