THE inquiry into the refusal of the controversial planning application to build 110 houses at Marl Lane Deganwy is to be heard next month.
Conwy planners refused permission for Beech Developments of Llandudno Junction to build the houses last September.
There was a great deal of opposition to the scheme, culminating in a protest demonstration outside Conway Borough Council’s Bodlondeb offices, when the application went before the authority’s planning committee.
The appeal will begin on Wednesday September 26, and be held at Llandudno Junction Community Club, Victoria Drive. A spokesman for the Planning Inspectorate said: The Inquiry Inspector will be Mr Iwan Lloyd, and it is anticipated the hearing will last for three days."
