A person has been taken to hospital after a three car crash near Tesco in Llandudno Junction.

The road traffic collision (RTC) occurred near Tesco about 6.30pm yesterday resulting in the junction 18 slip way being closed for two hours.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWFRS) was on hand, sending three appliances, while the Welsh Ambulance Service also attended the scene.

A Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were called at around 18.31 yesterday to an RTC near Tesco in Llandudno Junction. Three appliances attended - two from Llandudno and one from Conwy.

"There were three vehicles involved. The ambulance also attended and we helped them monitor the casualties. We left them in the care of the ambulance and then helped in the recovery of the vehicles.

"One of the casualties was taken to hospital."

The incident was concluded by about 8.30pm.
