AN UNCLAIMED lottery ticket means one lucky Wrexham winner is in danger of missing out on a £10,000 windfall.

The Health Lottery organisers have urged players in Wrexham and the surrounding area to check their tickets as there is just over one month left to claim the winning sum, with the lucky numbers registered to a ticket bought at a town store during the summer.

One lucky shopper is unaware that they have bought the winning ticket and have won a staggering a £10,000 - just in time to do their Christmas shopping.

The ticket was bought in the Sainsburys at Plas Coch on June 27.

The numbers played were: 2, 8, 10, 20, 30,

The winning numbers were: 8, 10 2,0 22, 30, and the bonus; 2.

To date, no one has come forward, but time is ticking for the as yet unknown winner as the ticket must be claimed by December 27, or their ticket will become invalid.

Martin Ellice from The Health Lottery said: “We are encouraging everyone who bought a Health Lottery ticket in the area of Wrexham to check their pockets for the winning ticket.

"So, we urge everyone to check your tickets today."
