A GROUP to support cancer patients, their loved ones and friends, will hold its first meeting at All Saints Church in Deganwy next month.
The group has been set up by Conwy cllr Julie Fallon who said: “The first meeting will be on Friday December 7, staring at 10.30am, and it will run on the first Friday of every month at the same time.
“It will be is open to anybody whose life is touched by cancer, that could be patients, loved ones or friends. There will be literature available and representatives from health, charities and other groups will drop in on sessions.”
She added: “It will very much be guided by what individuals want and feel is most appropriate to support them. It will have lots of warm drinks, cakes and as we are launching in December we will have mince pies too.
“It will be completely free.”
