Rehearsals are underway for this year's pantomime at Venue Cymru.

Cinderella will be hitting the Llandudno stage this Christmas featuring The Wanted's Tom Parker as Prince Charming.

Parker will be joined on stage by some pantomime veterans in Herbie Adams, who will be taking on the role of Buttons, and Dawson Chance as Baron Hardup who is taking part in his 46th traditional festive show.

Adams broadcasts and writes for television and radio stations BBC, ITV and SKY and has written for or performed alongside some of the biggest names in British comedy.

Chance's career highlights include performing in front of her majesty the Queen and Prince Philip, Her Majesty the Queen Mother and HRH Princess Margaret in no less than three British Royal Command Variety Performances for BBC television.

He has also performed in various roles in the USA in Hollywood.

Cinderella, who is played by Carly Burns, meanwhile will be joined on stage by her ugly stepsisters Claudia and Tess who will be played by Bobby Delaney and Stephen McGlynn respectively.

Natalie Winsor and Chris Bewsher round out the pantomime cast playing the parts of the Fairy Godmother and Dandini
