IT’S beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Conwy as its seaside towns lit up with the festive spirit this weekend.
As the sun was setting on the last day of November, Station Road took off with the Bay’s annual Christmas fair on Friday night.
The streets were the backdrop for 16 wooden chalets selling local produce, arts and crafts and festive gifts.
Attendees also witnessed a human-sized Christmas snow globe, inside which children had the chance to visit Father Christmas in his grotto.
Mayor of Colwyn Bay Cllr Stephen Williams attended the festivities and took a fright from some of the more creative seasonable costume efforts, whilst he welcomed comedian and piano star Stuart Loughland who made a guest appearance.
Penmaenmawr also celebrated its annual Festive Fair on Saturday, which saw a fun fair, food stalls, ice skating and live entertainment.
Father Christmas made the journey over from Colwyn Bay after last night’s appearance and paraded with his reindeer. Another giant snow globe was set up specially for him.
