MORE than 1,400 local resident and visitors attended Penmaenmawr’s Christmas fair.
The event held last weekend featured an artisan market with a series of high quality stalls.
Santa’s arrival, drawn by reindeer, was the main focus of the event which also included a fun bus, face painting a snow globe, an ice skating ring, a fun fair and large range of food stalls and a festive bar.
A live music stage was running throughout the day and many local acts performed in addition to Coastal Voice community choir and Beulah brass band.
Penmaenmawr Mayor, cllr Dafydd Lloyd-Borland, said: “It was a great day to bring the community together and was a showcase for Penmaenmawr which is a fantastic place to live and visit. The Festive Fair is in its second year and is run by a group I formed called Penmaenmawr Community Events.”
The day ended with the Christmas lights switch on and a firework display.
