Festive cheer spread through Rhos-on-Sea over the weekend.

The community held its annual Christmas Fayre on Saturday with everything from Santa's Grotto and a large snow globe to visits from Theatr Colwyn pantomime characters and an indoor market.

Event organiser, Emily Whitlock, said even with horrible weather the event went really well.

Ms Whitlock said: "I think it went really well.

"Having the snowglobe experience - which was free to everyone and you got a free photo to take home with you - was amazing.

"We also had Chelsey from Inferno Wales doing free face painting in Marmalade Cafe on Rhôs, Coast Cafe on the prom and in Le Sport.

"We wanted it to be full of family festive fun and I think we managed to do that because there were so many families in Rhos.

"The main aim was to get people walking through Rhos! So having Santa’s Grotto hosted at Little Lily & Co on 18 Everard Road and the snowglobe experience and the fairground ride in the Le Sport car park, with the indoor market in the club, meant that people would have to walk through the village to get to all the attractions."

She thanked the support the event had received from the Bay of Colwyn Town Council and the Colwyn BID through who's help they had been able to offer family free entry in the attractions.
