Christmas came early for a number of children in Conwy.

Newly formed group Motorcycle Meets North Wales held its first ever charity run in order to donate gifts to children supported by Ty Gobatih.

More than 20 motorcycles rode from Pensarn through the Colwyn Bay area to Conwy's Ty Gobaith to deliver the more than 70 presents to an excited group of children.

A Motorcycle Meets North Wales group spokesperson said: "The main reason we did the ride is because we can. We are all fortunate and all have kids, so we wanted to give something back.

"The kids were amazed when we turned up, because 10 of us were dressed like Santa Clause, so they were all over the moon to see us."

Ty Gobaith area fundraiser, Beverley Bradley, added: "The children were delighted to see them, they were all really grateful for the presents."

Motorcycle Meets North Wales currently has 600 members after just 11 months and after the success of the first charity run are looking to hold more in future throughout the year all for different children's charities.
