SNOWMEN from Llandudno Rotary club collected more than £1,350 for local charities in the run up to Christmas.
Each year members of the club dress up as snowmen and pound the street to collect money.
Club president Rosalind Hopewell said: “Every year we never cease to be amazed by the kindness and generosity of residents and visitors to our town, we are truly grateful. Our thanks, also, to St John’s Church for allowing us the use of their frontage.
“Especially pleasing is that of the 18 people who formed the rota of collecting snowmen over the four days in the run-up to Christmas, no less than eight were people who were helping in this task for the first time.”
