Independent Living Skills (ILS) students from Coleg Llandrillo recently organised their annual end-of-year handcrafted goods sale at its Rhos-on-Sea campus.
Students, with mild to severe learning disabilities, and social and emotional behavioural difficulties -
used their woodworking skills to upcycle old furniture, created wreaths out of old Christmas trees, turned wooden pallets into outdoor decorations and converted folder dividers into gift tags all for sale from wooden, chalet-style stalls at the front of the college.
There was also a raffle and tombola, as well as mulled wine, cakes and sweets on offer too.
The college’s Performing Arts students sang carols whilst non-alcoholic mulled wine and mince pies were handed out to visitors.
Lawrence Wood, Coleg Llandrillo principal, said: “This was a fantastic effort by our students and staff who have worked incredibly hard all term.
