A HOSPITAL x-ray failed to reveal the hidden secret of a drug dealer.
Police were still convinced that 26-year-old Ryan Eustace was carrying drugs, but eventually he confessed that he was concealing them up his backside, although they had not been revealed by the x-ray.
The story was told at a special weekend court when Eustace, of Maley Close, Liverpool, pleaded guilty to having heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply, and also possessing a small amount of cannabis for his own use.
Prosecuting at Llandudno, Nia Lloyd said he was a passenger in a black Mercedes stopped by police at Bethesda on Thursday. Wrapped in his rectum were 58 packages of heroin worth £581 and 31 of crack cocaine with a value of £1,230.
She said the drugs were intended for street deals.
Deborah Davies, defending, said: “He has entered timely guilty pleas and takes a pragmatic view.”
No application for bail was made and Eustace was sent for sentence to Caernarfon crown court on February 8.
