Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash in Llandudno.

North Wales Police and Welsh Ambulance Services were called to a road traffic collision (RTC) at the junction of Trinity Road and Dyffryn Road in Llandudno at around 7.50pm on Wednesday night.

The incident involved a Corsa and Ford Fiesta.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called yesterday (February 6, 2019) at approximately 7.50pm to reports of a two vehicle road traffic collision on the junction for Dyffryn Road and Trinity Avenue, Llandudno.

"We responded with two emergency ambulances, where two patients were taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor."

A Llandudno resident who witnessed the scene said: "There were a large number of emergency vehicles at the scene, you could see the flashing lights from down the road.

"It looked like the street was blocked off as well.

"It looked pretty bad, I hope everyone is alright."
