LLANDUDNO lifeboat personnel have been issued with new safety clothing.
The new three layer kit, which is unique to the RNLI, provides the volunteer crews with the highest quality protective and safety clothing to wear during operations has been made by sailing clothing manufacturer Helly Hansen.
The kit was presented to the Llandudno all-weather boat crew by James Millet from Helly Hansen, Amanda Boon and Edward Ellwood from the RNLI.
Tim James, Llandudno’s second Coxswain said, “I am really impressed with our new kit, it feels much more comfortable, is significantly lighter, and I am sure will give us much better performance when we are on a shout”.
