North Wales Police reported this morning several people had fallen ill after taking what may have been a bad batch of heroin and or cocaine.
A spokesperson for the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board said: "We have concerns about a bad batch of heroin and/or cocaine reported in North Wales over the last 24 hours, which has resulted in a small number of people attending hospital.
"We want to raise awareness of the risk associated with drug use, and remind people and their family and friends of what they can do to reduce these risks.
"This includes carrying Naloxone which can be obtained from local drug agencies.
