AN INFAMOUS carnival of the bizarre forged in the festivities of Glastonbury is set to shock and delight Llandudno.

The notorious Circus of Horrors has set Venue Cymru in its sights for a one delirious and death defying evening in Psycho Asylum on Monday, March 18.

Due to celebrate its 24th year in June, this unique, alternative troupe first found each other at Glastonbury in 1995 and have had their tongues firmly in cheek ever since.

Imagine if Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez banded together again to direct Cirque Due Soleil - then you would be only half way there.

Best described as a horror themed rock show for adults, Psycho Circus will use amazing light effects and a terrific set combined to stage dare devils and astounding circus acts, accompanied by a heavy sound scape of mainly original songs.

Featuring unbelievable sword swallowers, a 'hairculian' women swinging around the auditorium from her hair, the requisite strong man, plenty of whirlwind acrobats and sensational aerialists, flaming limbo, knife throwing, 'Bond Girl' esque diva's, twisted contortion and lots, lots more.

The evening that will have you sat on the edge of your seat - when you’re not falling off it with laughter.

For a rollercoaster ride through the weird and wonderful, head to Venue Cymru on Monday, March 18 at 7:30 pm.

Tickets are £19.50, with group discounts available, to book head to venuecymru.co.uk or visit 01492 872000.
