LLANELIAN’s spring fair will feature a competition entitled Gwanwyn, the Welsh word for spring.
Gwenda Davies, an artist and teacher, has been given a grant from Age Cymru for project, also entitled Gwanwyn, which has to be completed by the end of May. This year's art competition is being run in support of the project whose results will be shown in St Elian’s Church, Llanelian from the end of May for two weeks.
Competition entries, of any size, in any medium, have to be delivered to the church on Saturday May 11. Local artist Russell Worby will judge the competition.
