Thieves have targeted stores in Llandudno in three separate incidents.
North Wales Police reported three incidents of thieves stealing tobacco from newsagents in Llandudno on Monday, March 5.
A spokesperson for the police said: "People have been asking for tobacco then taking it from the counter without paying.
"We are asking people and shopkeepers not to hand over products until payment is received."
Police are investigating the incidents.
