Dog owners and their four-legged friends have taken to West Shore all in the name of charity.

Facebook group North Wales Pet Owers organised the charity dog walk and a large group braved windy conditions to take part.

The walk, which took place on Sunday on the West Shore Beach, was attended by over 50 people and saw more than £360 raised for the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children).

George Good, North Wales Pet Owers group organiser, said: "It’s always nice to meet our “North Wales Pet Owners, Group members” and fantastic to see so many of their dogs enjoying themselves, running free on the beach, socialising & getting on so well.

"For those who turned up & contributed, I cannot thank them enough.

"Hopefully we’ll do another one later in the year."

This is the second walk the group have organised with the last event being held in October.

That event raised more than £200 for Llandudno-based charity St David’s Hospice.
