POLICE have asked the public not to be alarmed if they see cohorts of police vehicles across North Wales - as officers are taking part in driving training.

Police driving training, which teaches officers respond how to respond to incidents, includes using different types of vehicle in challenging road environments and conditions.

North Wales Police said its training will take place throughout the week.

A police spokesperson tweeted: "Don't be alarmed if you see lots of police cars and motorbikes travelling together across North Wales.

"Our Driving School is running a convoy course all week. #KeepingUpSkills #SkilledDrivers"
