THE self proclaimed ‘King of Modern Poetry’ is bringing his first collection in 30 years to Llandudno live this spring.
Dr John Cooper Clarke, the punk rock poet, will present The Luckiest Guy Alive at Venue Cymru on Thursday, May 30.
The Dr complete with special guests will be taking to the stage reading poems from his brand new poetry book which reaffirms the necessity of well written, side splitting verse as a vehicle for timeless wisdom.
A poet, a movie star, comedian and icon - Dr Cooper Clarke has continued to inspire new generations of performers from the Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner to Plan B.
