THERE are plenty of Easter activities going on in and around Llandudno and Conwy this holiday period.

The fun starts off in Conwy where there will be a quest to find the missing swords at Conwy Castle.

Families are invited to help Daf, the forgetful night watchman of Conwy Castle, and search for the 12 missing swords within the grounds of the magnificent medieval fortress.

Guests can also try their hand at designing their very own shield and learn about the fascinating symbols and motifs of medieval weaponry. The event will run between Friday, April 19 and Monday, April 22 from 9.30am until 5pm.

There will also be other egg-tastic adventures running until April 28.

Along with the Easter specials, visitors have the chance to take part in one of the zoo’s animals encounters where lucky adults and children can get up close and personal with the Penguins, Meerkats, Primates, Sea Lions or Snow Leopards (extra charges apply). Pre-booking is essential for an animal encounter.
