A 50-YEAR-OLD woman out of jail for a day after breaching a domestic violence protection order was sent back to prison yesterday (Saturday) after she admitted ignoring it for a second time.
Emma Pritchard, a cleaner, of Queens Gardens, Craig y Don, Llandudno, said to have an alcohol problem, received a police notice after allegedly stabbing her partner in his arm, an allegation which her solicitor said she “vehemently denied.”
On March 22, she was jailed for 28 days for breaching the DVPO by going to a house.
Yesterday magistrates at Llandudno imposed 42 days. Gareth Preston, solicitor for North Wales police, said a worried neighbour alerted police to a domestic bust-up and Pritchard was found hiding in a garage.
Simon Sargent, defending, said she wasn’t charged with stabbing the man. She claimed he “persistently” phoned her.
