THE hunt is on for Easter eggs for an Easter egg hunt for youngsters at St John’s Church Old Colwyn.

As many eggs as can be gathered are needed to hide around the church and its grounds for the youngsters to ferret after in the scramble for chocolate.

The hunt will start at 10.30am on Saturday April 20 and continue until 12.00 noon.

Zoe Booth, worship leader at St John’s Church, said: “We aim to make this year’s Easter event a fun and engaging morning for many of the local community to enjoy. We would very much appreciate any donations of chocolate eggs, in any variety or size to be used both during the hunt and as raffle prizes.

“It will be hard to beat the cracking good time I’m sure all the children will have.”

“Any chocolate surplus to requirement will be donated onward to others in need.”
