ACTIVITIES, crafts and competitions will run at the Welsh Mountain Zoo as part of the attraction's Easter celebrations.

The Conwy Bay zoo will be running a number of Egg-stra special events until April 28.

On Friday, April 19, Saturday 20, Sunday 21 and Monday 22, an Easter Egg hunt will be held twice a day at 10.30am and 2.30pm. There will be a prize for all involved at the end of each hunt.

There will also be animal competitions and craft tasks including making a bunny mask and Easter cards to take home.

Marcia Azevedo Moreira, marketing and sales manager, said: “We love Easter here at the Zoo. The weather is generally on the up and the days are lighter and longer.

"Easter is one of the most popular times of the year to visit the zoo and we like to really throw ourselves into all things Easter - especially eggs and chocolate."

Places for the Easter egg hunt must be booked in advance. Admission prices apply.
