FAMILIES are being invited to explore National Trust properties and the great outdoors for a host fun activities over the Easter holidays.

There is everything from spring nature trails to Cadbury Easter egg hunts being held across north Wales, with many of the activities free of charge.

At Bodnant Garden, Conwy, a Things with Wings trail is being held from April 6-28, from 10am - 4pm.

Discover the birds, butterflies and bees which call Bodnant home on a self-led trail.

Visitors will get to traverse the fields, wander down hills and across streams over the Easter holidays.

At Penrhyn Castle, Bangor, a Spring Trail: Nature’s Voice event is being held from now until May 19, from 10:30am - 5pm.

Experience nature amongst the trees, plants, flowers and surrounding countryside, using different senses to see nature from different perspectives.

At Plas Newydd House and Garden, on Anglesey, the Spring garden; a sense of adventure event is on from now until May 31, from 11am - 4.30pm.

In the gardens at Plas Newydd there are outdoor activities, nature trails and woodland fun days.

Activities from planting seeds to take home, to thinking like a squirrel in the tree house or matching wild animal footprints, there are lots of nature related activities.

Woodland Wednesdays are on April 17 and 24. Learn how to make a nest and create and paint your own egg with the Wild Elements team.

Visitors are invited to take inspiration from the sounds of nature and create their own musical instrument as part of a series of fun, family springtime nature activities.
