THE sharp tongue of Strictly Come Dancing's fiercest judge returns to Venue Cymru next month.

Direct from London’s West End, smash-hit musical Annie makes it way back to to Llandudno for one week only from Tuesday, May 14.

Choreographer extraordinaire Craig Revel Horwood will make full use of his Strictly down time to indulge his dramatic talents, reprising his role as as the tyrannical Miss Hannigan which he played to critical acclaim in the same production both in the West End and on the 2015-16 UK tour.

While probably best known as a permanent fixture on the hit BBC Saturday night TV show, his other stage credits include ‘Munkustrap’ in Cats, Harry in Crazy for You at the Prince Edward Theatre, and in Miss Saigon at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

Standing proudly in such exalted company, the timeless musical Annie invites audiences back in time to 1930s New York during the Great Depression, where brave young Annie is forced to live a life of misery and torment at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage.
