Colwyn Bay Round Table are following up their successful 2018 Santa Float with a variety show for local senior citizens.

Tom Crook, member of Colwyn Bay Round Table and organiser of this year’s show, said: “We have all been busy organising this year’s event and we’re looking forward to another great show in May. “We telephone and write to the local residential homes and provide free transport to get them to Theatr Colwyn for the show.

“We are eager to give something back to the local community and what better than to put a smile on people’s faces.

“We have a variety of acts who are all performing for no fee, and we look forward to seeing them on the night and hope they will enjoy being in show as much as everyone enjoys watching it.”

“Our members are preforming two dance routines this year as part of the show.

“We have been very lucky to again have been trained by the local dance group, the Happy Tappers. It’s been a gruelling 4 to 5 weeks.”

This year’s event is on the May 1 at Theatr Colwyn, at 7pm.
