EVERY April, Scouts around the world meet to celebrate their achievements.
Recently, 120 Conwy Scouts gathered underground in an abandoned slate mine near Blaenau Ffestiniog.
They met to take part in a special service held to reflect on what being a Scout means today and to thank retiring district commissioner, Geoff Powell.
Reflecting on his years in Scouting, Mr Powell gave a moving speech, telling the youngsters that they were "the future" and that this would be a "day they would remember forever".
Jen & Miles Moulding who run Go Below Underground Adventures and hosted the event said: “We very much wanted to support the local Scouts – our son is a member and enjoys going to Cubs very much and the people who volunteer their time are amazing.
"This was something we were able to do to contribute towards that.”
