AN ECO friendly Rhyl primary school has received a visit from a very special guest,
Hannah Blythyn AM, deputy Minister for housing and local government, met with pupils of Christchurch County Primary School's eco council to discuss the Deposit Return Scheme that the Welsh Government are hoping to begin.
The scheme is designed to encourage people to pay a deposit for a drinks bottle or can which they can then return to get their money back.
The bottles and cans that are returned are then to be recycled.
A spokesperson for the school said; "The minister spoke to the children about their thoughts about the scheme.
The school's councillors also gave Hannah a tour of our school and the projects that the Eco Council are running throughout the school."
