A NEW Colwyn Bay exhibition will shine a light on the growing artisan cut flower movement.
FarmerFlorist, an exhibition by Tessa Bunney runs from Friday, May 3 until Saturday, June 29 at Oriel Colwyn at Theatr Colwyn.
Timed to coincide with British Flowers Week from June 10, Bunney's series explores the movement towards for fair trade in flowers and celebrates the domestic flower growers of Britain, both past and present.
In a series of stunning photographs, Bunney - who will be a key speaker at the venue's Northern Eye International Photography Festival in October - captures the individuals who are contributing to this vibrant industry.
For more than 25 years, Bunney has photographed everything from hill farmers near her home in North Yorkshire to Icelandic puffin hunters, Finnish ice swimmers to Romanian nomadic shepherds revealing the fascinating intricacies of the dependencies between people, work and the land.
