A MAN banned motorist spotted by his niece and other villagers as he drove his sister’s car without permission and while drunk was jailed for 36 weeks.
Kevin Hole, aged 59, of Conwy Road, Talybont, Conwy, also received a four-year ban.
He told magistrates at Llandudno from the dock :”I do apologise about my behaviour.”
He admitted driving a Renault Captur at Talybont with a breath-alcohol count of 129 on Tuesday.
The legal limit is 35. Hole also pleaded guilty to taking the vehicle without consent and driving when banned.
Prosecutor James Neary said, in November, Hole got a suspended sentence after appearing for two offences of drink-driving.
The sentence was activated.
Graham Parry, defending, said Hole was alcohol dependent.
He had decided to drive to Conwy and was returning to Talybont when he was spotted.
