Arianwen Hughes having her haircut
A PUPIL at Ysgol y Creuddyn Penrhyn Bay has had 15 inches of her hair cut off for charity.
Arianwen Hughes, a year 7 pupil at the Welsh medium secondary school, has had her sent to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that make real hair wigs for children with hair loss for various reasons, including cancer.
Arianwen, who is a member of the Menai Bridge Brass Band, Cor Canwy, Welsh National Opera, Youth Opera North and the National Youth Girls choir of Great Britain, also raised £100 for the charity through sponsorship from friends and family.
