TWO men have been arrested and taken into custody following a break at a charity shop in Rhos-on-Sea.
The incident happened at the back of the Sue Ryder charity shop in Colwyn Avenue.
Manager of the Sue Ryder shop, Linda Edwards, said: "The police were here when I arrived here this morning. Intruders had broken into the basement. The police took away two suspects and drug paraphernalia.
"It is a regular occurrance to find people rifling through our bins. But we don't put anything of value in then, it is just rubbish as we recyle as much as possible.
"This is the second time in 12 months someone has tried to break in, it is a real inconvenience and puts a high cost on the charity."
A North Wales Police spokesman said: “We received a call at 7.39 this morning (Tuesday, June 4) reporting a break in a property.
“Two males have been arrested.”
Investigations are continuing into the incident.
